Pyramid is a content-management system (CMS), written in Python programming language.
Pyramid is built on top of TurboGears 2 mega-framework, and uses SQLElixir as a database abstraction layer.
Pyramid requires Python 2.5, some Python packages (including TurboGears 2) and a database, from MySQL to Oracle. Pyramid is a wsgi application and can be deployed under Apache2+mod_wsgi.
Pyramid is free software with only several limitations.
Pyramid is developed at Lab M, Samara, Russia. Sergei Beilin is a team lead; his wife, Natalie Beilina, proposed the name for this project.
